Portable Appliance Testing (PAT)
Under the Health & Safety at Work Act (1974) all electronic appliances used by staff or members of the public must be regular tested for electrical safety. This means as well as your kettle and oil field radiator in the office all mains powered electronic computer equipment needs to be tested and certificated regularly.
This includes:
- Desktop & tower computers plus monitors or LCD displays
- Servers, coms cabinets, telephone systems
- Laptop power supplies
- Printers, scanners, fax machines
- Networking equipment such as switches, routers, print servers
What we can provide:
- Fully qualified and certified electrician for complete site testing
- One off unit testing and certification
- Yearly PAT testing checks and certification
- The engineer will have state of the art PAT testing equipment
- Items are clearly labelled with pass or fail stickers
- Detailed inventory of all items tested and state
